"Shadows Define Light" - Supriya Singla, B.Arch, M.De.Sc, Illumination Design, M.A. Yoga Supriya has an extensive experience as a Lighting Designer for more than 16 years. The variety of her experience in the lighting industry, primarily include lighting as an experience of space and one’s perception towards it. She has demonstrated proficient skill in lighting design competence in various projects ranging from infrastructure to interiors to light art installations in USA, India and Australia.

The key skills involve lighting design deliveries based on the apt understanding of the passion for lighting along with understanding of physics and engineering behind it.

A registered Architect in India by background, Supriya holds double Masters Degree in Illumination Design and Sustainability Design from The University of Sydney. Her lighting designs emphasis the need of the ambient lighting, the functional lighting and the artistic lighting, all targeting to achieve an integrated experiential enclosure designed to create a visual enchantment. In short she is the bridge between what the selection, the use, the type, and the location of the luminaires aim in assimilating lighting within the architectural elements and to its features to extend its own definitions; and all that she designs is based on the significance of not only acknowledging 'how' something is lit, but also 'why' and 'what' is being lit to nurture one's mind and body, to hold the glimpse of beyond.
