Driven by his love for art and technology – two things that are slowly blending into each other, Hitesh dabbled with various communication mediums like Filmmaking, editing, visual effects, Virtual and Augmented Reality, projection mapping, documentaries, sound design, broadcast, to find that intersection, where medium ends and the magic begins. Working as a VFX supervisor in mainstream cinema, he gained insight into the nuances of visually driven storytelling. Splat was started in 2012, and there has since been no looking back. This further culminated in Splat’s first 3D projection mapping show at a time when the medium was unheard of. Today, Splat has developed from being Hitesh’s brainchild to a thriving studio replete with personnel dedicated to specific fields such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, 3D animation, motion graphics, music, audiovisual production, etc. The number of projects he has worked on is rivalled in its impressiveness only by the variety of projects he’s done and the diversity in subject knowledge required for the same.

Keeping up with his steady characteristic of continuous innovation, He co-founded Varaha tech labs, to establish world-class 3D documentation and archival platforms for the museums of the world. This novel effort bridges the gap between museum artifacts and the audience across the globe, making the museums truly open and boundless. Varaha has successfully completed India's first 3D virtual museum for the SCO summit, which was inaugurated by the PM of India. His passion for museums, art and culture, and heritage have taken the group into museums and experience centre designs, which is what he currently focuses on.
