The greatest wisdom has come to us from spaces of light. It's not for no reason that the Bible's Book of Genesis has it written down, "And God said, let there be light."
The Parabolic Lightcloud takes us inside this universe, where light is literally a display of our emotions. More than a thousand lights are suspended into this classic parabolic curve and they display love and fear, sadness and exuberance in the way the patterns and colours move and shift their shape.
The intent of course is that the Lightcloud will also influence our mood. As we gaze at its changing micro-emotional patterns, the interactive installation is meant to do what every spiritual guru says that light does - take us out of the dark. That is the simple yet complex creative genius of the Australian artistic duo - Renzo B. Larriviere and Simone Chua of Amigo & Amigo.
